The Country Brocante Summer Fair in The Meadow

We are delighted to invite you to celebrate the Country Brocante’s 15th Year in Sussex with a big and beautiful Summer Fair in The Meadow at Rowner Farm. Join us and enjoy two glorious days in the rolling hills of the West Sussex countryside, where we will be setting up our pretty white tents and filling them with a perfect curation of Decorative Antiques, English, French and Swedish furniture, Vintage home wares, Antique textiles, Artisan makers and Contemporary Home designers, Slow fashion brands, everything for your gardens and an abundance of locally grown plants and flowers. We will be joined by our Great British brands and friends of The Country Brocante, old and new.

Browse the garden galleries and stop for a morning coffee or light lunch from our artisan food vendors. The Country Brocante tea tent will be serving a delicious array of summer treats and there will be chilled Prosecco and Strawberries and Cream to enjoy in the sunshine. As always we hope to tempt you to attend one of our unique workshops, demonstrations or talks from leading authors, designers and creatives.
We look forward to welcoming you to our biggest event of the year, celebrating 15 magical years of The Country Brocante in Sussex.

Talks & Workshops

This summer we are delighted to welcome a wonderful line up of creatives, interior designers, and authors to The Country Brocante. In addition we have a distinctly floral offering this year, from garden design to dried flower arrangements, creating a beautiful cutting garden to bringing the outdoors into your home, there is something to tempt everyone. We have two full days of inspiring talks, creative demonstrations, book signings, panel talks and the opportunity to meet and chat to experts and leading creatives.

Please note:

Spaces for talks and demonstrations are limited. Pre-booking is essential and available exclusively to full ticket holders. Pop by the talk tent throughout the weekend, our wonderful authors and creatives will be there throughout the day to sign books and say hello. Please note for some the creative workshops, such as Chalk & Paisley’s ‘Sewing and Patching’,you can book directly with the maker.

We have a series of artists and creatives you can meet and watch them work, including Lou Tonkin (Artist & Print Maker), Colette Woods (Ceramicist and Artist), Catherine Beaumont (Basket Maker) and Creative sessions with Ian of Woolhouse Farm.

Ali Heath is a UK-based interiors journalist, stylist, and author with over 17 years of freelance experience. Her work has been featured in leading interior publications, and she has authored books like ‘Curate’ and ‘Create’, which focus on blending old and new elements to create personalised home spaces. Her new book ‘Cocoon’ is an exploration of home as a sanctuary.

Alma / Proust

Alma Proust is a floral design studio and flower farm founded by Milli Proust and Paris Alma. Located just up the road from our fair in West Sussex, they specialise in growing seasonal, sustainable flowers and offer a range of seeds and floral designs that reflect the rhythms of nature.

Join Milli and Alma at The Country Brocante Fair for a special Country Brocante Gardeners Question Time in our pretty talk tent. Alma and Milli will be setting up shop with their collection of seeds, gardeners sundries and books.

Enjoy tea & cake in our vintage canvas tent, and find local produce and food trucks serving delicious lunches.

Tickets are available on the day, however, ticket holders will get priority access to the fair. Once you have purchased your ticket on the day you may join the ticket holders queue. You will receive a small saving by purchasing online, and look out for offers on the run up to the fair.

Dogs on leads are very welcome, however we do urge you to consider the heat on the day.
