Dilli House
One of the real joys of creating The Country Brocante Fairs is getting to know the interesting and creative people behind beautiful new products. It is always inspiring — and often surprising — to hear the story behind a brand. This is particularly true in the case of Dilli House.
Dilli House is an independent luxury fragrance brand founded by Arpit Kaushik. We are delighted that not only will they be bringing their first product, Prem Rouge, to The Country Brocante Summer Fair in June, but they are also joining us as our first ever official Scent Partner for the event.
The story behind Dilli House is an especially personal one. In 2022, a life-changing cycling accident left Kaushik with a serious brain injury and forced him to rebuild his life completely. During this period of transformation, he was inspired to rethink fragrance entirely.

A lifelong lover of perfume, Kaushik was advised to avoid alcohol entirely. Conventional perfumes contain between 70% and 90% alcohol and, on discovering that no high-quality alcohol-free perfumes existed, he set out to create one himself.
The result is not only innovative but also beautifully made . The first creation — a limited edition fragrance — is Prem Rouge: a 100% natural, alcohol-free scent designed with exceptional care and attention. The set is offered as a duo, one rose-based and the other tuberose-based, which can be worn separately or layered together.

It is a new kind of fragrance: entirely natural, rooted in plants and created to celebrate life’s quieter rhythms. Designed to evoke memories of love and moments of calm, Prem Rouge is inspired by two gardens from Kaushik’s past — one in Kashmir, the other in Provence — gardens separated by forty years, yet connected by an abundance of flowers and a deep sense of connection to the natural world.

The scent itself is exquisite: soft, natural and quietly layered. The ability to wear the fragrances individually or in combination makes the experience uniquely personal. Made using innovative Water Plant Emulsion technology, the result is gentler on the skin and truer to the flower from which it came. The fragrances were composed in France by master perfumers Patty Canac and Clementine Humeau and made in Britain.

At The Country Brocante, we have long championed makers and creators working towards a slower, kinder, more sustainable way of life — businesses that place the health and wellbeing of people and planet at the heart of what they do. Dilli House is a shining example of what can be achieved through this ethos.
In recognition of their commitment to doing business differently and their rigorous social and environmental standards, Dilli House has been awarded the coveted B Corp Certification. They are the only alcohol-free perfume brand currently listed as a Certified B Corporation. This achievement reflects the high standards they established from the very beginning, long before there was even a finished product. It also speaks to the courage required to rethink an entire category.
Following his accident, Kaushik has described feeling as though he was given a second chance at life. It is quite remarkable what he has achieved with that second chance, that he has not only fought his way back to health and rebuilt his life but has also founded such an inspiring business and created such a beautiful product along the way.
We are so looking forward to welcoming Dilli House to the heart of the fair as our official Scent Partner and we urge you to experience Prem Rouge for yourself.
