Happy New Year!
After the sparkles of Christmas, it’s really quite satisfying to sweep away the old and look forward to the challenges a new year brings.
In the Country Brocante Store, our sellers have been clearing out their cupboards so we are having a sale until the end of the month, come in and see if you can find a bargain or two!
Even though we are in the depths of winter it’s lovely to plant up some bulbs which will soon open in the warmth indoors. We always have interesting containers in the shop that can be planted up, old terracotta pots look great filled with Hellebores or Muscari, china tureens that have lost their lids make beautiful planters and even old paint kettles full of scented Narcissi will look amazing when in bloom!
Outside in the gardens and on the verges, it’s a welcome sight when the snowdrops start to appear, a sign of life!
Behind the scenes, the lull in events allows us some time to plan for the year ahead! We have lots of ideas in the pipeline that we look forward to sharing but in the meantime, the dates for your diaries so far are as follows:
Saturday 4th April: Fair in the Square - Midhurst
Friday 5th and Saturday 6th June - The Summer Fair at Parham House & Gardens
Saturday 29th August - High Summer on Wisborough Green
Saturday 19th September - The Harvest Fair at Daylesford Farm
